Walking Tour of Jeppo – A Village by the River

Welcome to Jeppo (Jepua in Finnish), a mainly Swedish-language village in the municipality of Nykarleby, in western Finland. The village has emerged on the shores of the Lapua river and has deep roots in agriculture and small-scale industry. The walk will take you over four bridges, where you can see two of the many small rapids in the river. Meanwhile you will hear about the history and contemporary life in the village.
