Hiking trails in Larsmo

In Larsmo there are several options for hiking in forest and land. The length of the trails varies between 1-14 km and the total length of the entire Larsmoleden is 44 km. The trails are maintained by the municipality and various volunteer groups and the trails are planned for hiking during the seasons when the ground is free of snow so no winter maintenance is carried out on the hiking trails.

Along the hiking trails there are rest areas, wind shelters with fireplaces or barbecue huts where hikers can stop and grill sausages. There are also outhouses at several of the rest areas. At wet parts of the trails, slats have been built to facilitate walking.

Along Larsmoleden there are shorter children's trails. One in Holm, one in Bosund and one in Näs. The children's trails are approx. 750-1000 meters with interesting information signs and fun activities. The whole family can take an excursion together and hopefully the fun activities will make the distance feel just right, even for the little ones.
